Collagen Retinol Firming Face Cream

This 50g collagen cream is the heavyweight of the Bloom Revival moisturiser range, formulated for skin that wants more than hydration alone. It is rich without being suffocating, melting on contact and settling into a soft, matte-satin finish that works as a night cream or as a winter daytime moisturiser under sunscreen.

The formula pairs collagen with retinol, the most studied ingredient in the anti-ageing category, alongside glycerin and mineral oil for slip and moisture retention. Retinol addresses the look of fine lines and uneven texture over time, while the collagen and emollient base keep the skin surface comfortable through the adjustment period that stronger actives usually bring.

Introduce it slowly. Start with two or three nights a week on clean, dry skin, building up as your skin adapts, and always wear sunscreen the following morning. Avoid the immediate eye area and pause if you are using prescription retinoids or acids on the same night. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and worth patch testing first if your skin is reactive. Keep the jar closed and store it somewhere cool and dark, since retinol degrades in light and heat. If your skin flakes or stings in the first fortnight, scale back to twice weekly and buffer it over a plain moisturiser rather than abandoning it altogether.
